Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer NIS to join our team at Frequentis Comsoft. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for evaluating new hardware, assisting in network design conception, and providing products in configuration management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new hardware, including switches and servers, to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
  • Assist in the conception of network designs, taking into account scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Provide products in configuration management, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop complex technical solutions, leveraging expertise in Python development, Linux system administration, and hardware.
  • Stay up-to-date with security topics, applying knowledge to enhance our systems and protect against potential threats.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux systems, particularly Red Hat, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Practical experience in scripting, including Bash, Python, and Ansible.
  • Ability to develop complex technical solutions, adapting to new challenges and learning new areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence and self-assurance when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
