About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Director of Wholesale Operations at THOMAS SABO. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our international wholesale business and developing strategic plans to achieve our company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Wholesale Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive plans to drive growth in our international wholesale business, aligning with our company objectives.
  • Lead and Manage Wholesale Teams: Oversee and mentor regional wholesale managers to ensure the success of our wholesale operations.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing wholesale partners and identify new opportunities to expand our market presence.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of our wholesale strategy.
  • Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Activity: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform and adjust our wholesale strategy.
  • Manage Wholesale Budgets and KPIs: Oversee wholesale budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators to ensure the success of our wholesale operations.
  • Attend Industry Events: Participate in national and international trade shows to promote our brand and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on sales or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably in the jewelry, watch, or luxury goods industry.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams in an international environment.
  • Wholesale Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of wholesale operations, including pricing strategies, inventory management, and distribution channels.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking and Results-Oriented Approach: Ability to think strategically and drive results in a dynamic environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German and English language skills, with additional languages a plus.
  • International Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
