Senior Manager Contract Logistics Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Contract Logistics to lead our contract logistics operations in Germany and Eastern Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics and supply chain efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking, to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Lead and motivate staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication in difficult circumstances.
- Evaluate current operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.
- Responsible for ensuring strict adherence to budgeted revenue and operating income goals, while establishing and maintaining day-to-day fiscal management practices in full compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, logistics, or business administration.
- Profound knowledge of the economic, commercial, and political issues to build and grow the business and projects with impactful outcomes.
- 5+ years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company.
- Highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Fluent in English and German, with additional languages a bonus.
- Ready to travel between 50%-75% of the time across the region to our operations and clients.
