Senior Manager Contract Logistics Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Contract Logistics to lead our contract logistics operations in Germany/Eastern Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract logistics operations, including project management, site management, and customer interface.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking.
  • Drive operational site management, ensuring financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Lead and motivate staff to achieve maximum performance and dedication.
  • Evaluate current operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to budgeted revenue and operating income goals.
  • Analyze financial performance indicators and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, logistics, or business administration.
  • 5+ years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company.
  • Profound knowledge of economic, commercial, and political issues to build and grow the business.
  • Fluent English and German language skills, with additional languages a bonus.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time across the region to operations and clients.
