About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Contract Logistics to join our team in Germany/Eastern Europe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing projects, sites, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage crucial projects and lead cross-functional project teams to ensure adherence to project plans and monitor progress.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking, and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Drive operational site management and act as an integral interface to customers.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations and projects, ensuring financial, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication in challenging circumstances.
  • Evaluate current operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to budgeted revenue and operating income goals, while establishing and maintaining day-to-day fiscal management practices.
  • Analyze regular financial performance indicators and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, logistics, or business administration.
  • Profound knowledge of economic, commercial, and political issues to build and grow the business and projects with impactful outcomes.
  • 5+ years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance, while also enjoying collaborating across dynamic and multi-cultural teams.
  • Highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Fluent English and German language skills, with additional languages a bonus.
  • Ready to travel between 50%-75% of the time across the region to our operations and clients.
