Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager at Volocopter, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and testing of our eVTOL aircraft. Your mission will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in aeronautical engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in crewed flight test (excluding UAV)
  • EASA Category 1 FTE Certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the aeronautical development and certification process
  • Proven leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rotary wing experience
