Job Title: Electrical Aviation Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Aviation Manager to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a key member of our flight test operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of flight tests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team resources, including personnel and budget, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other team leads and departments to achieve best results.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the flight test process.
- Ensure team adherence to FTOM processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in aeronautical engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in crewed flight testing (excluding UAV).
- EASA Category 1 FTE Certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in aeronautical development and certification processes.
- Proven leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rotary wing experience.
