**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Taxation Specialist to join our team in Hennigsdorf, Germany. As a Taxation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with German VAT regulations and tax accounting requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and advance returns, as well as monthly tax reporting obligations.
- Participate in the processing of all VAT issues, including tax account reconciliations and associated reporting.
- Develop and implement VAT compliance systems and tax processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct detailed analyses of transactions to assist in dealing with tax authority inquiries or company-related issues.
- Support tax projects and audits, as well as tax registration of new and existing companies.
- Calculate period income tax and prepare periodic reports/statistics.
**Requirements**
- Graduate degree in Taxation or Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Tax department, with expertise in German VAT compliance rules and tax accounting.
- Experience with SAP ERP system is a plus.
- Proficient in MS-Office Tools, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.
- Independent, methodical, and structured approach to work.
- Ability to adapt to new challenges and changing priorities.
