We are seeking a skilled Tax Expert to join our team at our site in Hennigsdorf, Germany. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with German VAT rules and tax accounting regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and advance returns, as well as monthly tax reporting obligations.
  • Participate in the processing of all VAT issues, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
  • Process tax account reconciliations and associated reporting, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the development and digitalization of our VAT compliance system and tax processes, implementing best practices and improving efficiency.
  • Perform detailed analyses of transactions to assist in dealing with enquiries from tax authorities or the company.
  • Support tax projects and audits, as well as tax registration of new and existing companies.
  • Participate in the calculation of period income tax, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare periodic reports and statistics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Tax or Accounting, or comparable qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Tax department, with expertise in German VAT compliance rules and tax accounting.
    • Experience with SAP ERP system is a plus.
    • Confident in MS-Office Tools, with a strong knowledge of Excel.
    • Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.
    • Independent, methodical, and structured approach to work.
    • Enjoying new and changing challenges.
