We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions for our locomotive projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and structure software requirements to create solution concepts.
- Work with the team and project management to create finished software architectures that integrate rail vehicles into cloud solutions.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, project managers, and other development engineers.
- Conduct cost calculations and cost estimates for offers and ensure that costs and deadlines are met.
- Support other development engineers in an advisory capacity.
- Perform software integration and testing to ensure functionality on the vehicle.
- Master's degree in software engineering.
- First practical experience in technical development projects.
- Knowledge of structured and object-oriented software development for embedded systems in the IoT environment with the Linux operating system.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages Python or C++.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to deal with complex problems, communicate effectively, and work systematically and independently.
