Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our software engineering team for locomotive projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting software requirements, structuring them, and creating solution concepts. You will work with the team and project management to create finished software architectures that integrate rail vehicles into cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect software requirements and structure them for solution concepts
  • Work with the team and project management to create finished software architectures
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, project managers, and other development engineers
  • Support other development engineers in an advisory capacity
  • Carry out software integration and testing to ensure functionality on the vehicle
Requirements
  • Master's degree in software engineering
  • First practical experience in technical development projects
  • Knowledge of structured and object-oriented software development for embedded systems in the IoT environment with the Linux operating system
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages Python or C++
  • Good command of English
