About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Buyer to join our team at REWE Group. As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for the procurement and management of flowers and plants across our retail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and consumer preferences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
  • Proven experience in category management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of the retail industry and market trends
