Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Buyer to join our team at the REWE Group. As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for a specific category of products, ensuring that we receive the best possible prices and quality from our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the procurement process for a specific category of products, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure that procurement decisions align with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure that we receive the best possible service and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, and experience with procurement software.
