About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our Commerce Platform team at STACKIT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating our cloud-based commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient backend systems for our commerce platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-based systems
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS or GCP
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Kotlin
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
