About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Commerce Platform team at STACKIT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems for our commerce platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and implement migration strategies to replace existing systems
  • Support and consult with product teams on metering and billing system integration
  • Automate and optimize technical processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Strong experience in backend software development, preferably with Go
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, including infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Knowledge of event-based systems and related technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
