Star Charge Europe GmbH, a leading provider of advanced IoT equipment and solutions for electric charging infrastructure, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as an ESS Business Development Manager. With a 100% automated production line and extensive cooperation with over 60 top OEMs, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for leading car manufacturers and energy companies worldwide.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a customer-oriented professional with a strong technical background to support our endeavors in Germany. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our success, developing technical solutions, working closely with internal product teams and R&D on solution definition and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Battery Storage (BESS) and Microgrid Solutions: Develop and implement effective BESS and microgrid solutions to meet customer needs and comply with local regulations.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify product development needs for the European market.
  • Client Support: Provide technical support to clients in defining the most effective microgrid applications, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and local regulations.
  • Grid Code Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor grid codes and ensure compliance with TSOs and technical standardization committees.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with power systems, including BESS, LV-MV panels, inverters, switchgears, and other related equipment.
  • Competitor Analysis: Update the status of competitors and their products, providing information on the competitiveness of enterprises and products to the EU Head Office.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and innovative project team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Energy Storage Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of energy storage-related European standards.
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background, preferably in the energy sector, DNO, TSOs, and energy storage solutions.
  • Power Systems Experience: Experience with power systems, renewables, electrical studies, electrical system sizing, BESS, power electronics, and inverter controls.
  • Modelling Experience: Experience with modelling electrical systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities.
  • Project Management: Technical project management background.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage different stakeholders.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Knowledge of the principles and tools of project management.
  • Language Skills: Native speaker with excellent English skills.
  • Residency and Driving License: Must have an existing right to live and work in Denmark and a valid Denmark driving license.
