Role Summary:

As a Regional Leadership Development Manager at Hyundai, you will play a key role in implementing leadership development programs across Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the delivery of training courses and programs, engaging with learners across multiple subsidiaries and evaluating the effectiveness of these initiatives. You will also be responsible for enhancing the design and delivery of assessment programs to ensure that career development standards are effectively utilized across all European stakeholders. Additionally, you will conduct learning needs analysis, track HR data analytics, trends, and insights to inform your decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Development Curriculum Design: Design and implement leadership training curriculum, refresh content as needed, and develop leadership development tracks for junior and mid-level managers, as well as assessment programs for heads of departments.
  • Learning Effectiveness and Engagement: Monitor and ensure learning effectiveness, real transfer of knowledge to the workplace, and create business impact through effective communication of programs, processes, and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Leadership Community Development: Spearhead leadership community development through existing blueprints, activation, and progress, driving a leadership-driven transformation culture. Engage with regional leaders to drive and sustain this community, plan recognition events, and activation of business impact use cases for certified leaders.
  • Individual Development and Assessment: Consult and support selected leaders, assessment program participants, and top talents with individual development goals and follow-up. Design and align assessment programs to effectively support career planning, succession planning, and role readiness utilizing regional job role and success profile database.
  • Strategic Goal Setting and Execution: Receive strategic goals and success criteria from heads of departments towards leadership development and assessment goals. Independently work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute annual business plans.
  • Regional Leadership and Communication: Act and communicate on a regional level to gather buy-in, support, and define action/tactical goals. Take the lead to introduce leadership and assessment programs into new organizations (Genesis, Hyundai Connected Mobility, and Factories in Europe).
  • Process Implementation and Governance: Implement and communicate processes, policies, and systems in areas of responsibility and monitor their governance/application.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Quality Control: Collaborate with external partners to ensure a positive experience with the brand and control the quality of training delivery.
  • Budget Management: Utilize budget effectively to cover costs for relevant activities.
About You:
  • Education: University Degree (Bachelor/MBA, etc.) in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field to organizational learning and development.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a related position or specialization in Europe.
  • Skills: Experience in setting and supporting the implementation of strategies and driving results within the HR function. Ability to interact with a high volume of stakeholders while influencing, developing, and motivating people and engaging in changing behaviors.
