The Opportunity

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our commercetools Platform, the foundation and technical backbone of all our offerings.

Your Mission
  1. Develop a deep understanding of our customers and users to influence innovation and roadmap prioritization
  2. Refine the differentiated messaging and positioning of our commercetools Platform to drive thought leadership and revenue growth
  3. Own the joint value proposition for commercetools and key infrastructure partners (Google, Microsoft, AWS, MongoDB)
  4. Develop a deep understanding of our customers and users of commercetools integrations and connectors
  5. Collaborate with multiple teams on new capabilities and solutions launches
  6. Influence cross-functionally to drive alignment on strategy, narrative, and priorities
  7. Develop sales collateral and partner with Sales Enablement to support global sales effectively and at scale
  8. Cultivate storytelling skills to amplify narratives through campaigns, customer conversations, and events
  9. Identify market opportunities through industry, customer, and competitive trends analysis
What You Need to Succeed
  1. 4+ years of experience in product marketing or technical marketing
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and global organization
  3. Strategic thinking, building product knowledge, and highlighting key differentiators
  4. Enabling and educating internal audiences to drive meaningful content
  5. Turning data into a story and presenting complex concepts clearly
  6. Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  7. Track record of turning deliverables into repeatable processes
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  9. Ability to work independently to obtain results
  10. Excellent project management skills
Nice to Have
  1. Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, MS Azure)
  2. Familiarity with the ecosystem of commerce platforms (SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud, Shopify, etc.)
