Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Assistant to join our team at Freudenberg. As a Tax Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with tax-related matters, including preparing tax returns, providing expert advice on family and inheritance law, and ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax returns, including international tax returns, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support clients, including shareholders of the Freudenberg Group, with tax-related matters, providing a high level of service orientation and expertise.
  • Provide expert support in the area of family and inheritance law, working closely with our lawyers and tax advisors.
  • Ensure the proper application of current tax regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and developments in the tax landscape.
  • Use the DATEV software for tax-related matters, demonstrating proficiency and efficiency in its use.
  • Support with special tax projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • You possess a successfully completed education as a Tax Clerk or equivalent.
  • You have approximately 3 years of experience in the field of tax consulting, with a focus on income tax, gift tax, and inheritance tax returns.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of tax law, family law, and inheritance law, demonstrating a strong understanding of these complex areas.
  • You are proficient in using DATEV software, feeling confident and enthusiastic about new technologies.
  • You work reliably, service-oriented, structured, and independently, but also enjoy working in a team.
  • You possess excellent communication skills in German and English, rounding out your profile.
