Join Freudenberg's Team as a Fixed Asset Accounting Expert
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accounting Expert to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of fixed asset accounting processes and procedures for our German legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain guidelines for fixed asset accounting in accordance with German and international accounting regulations (IFRS)
- Accurately book adds and outs, and administer master file data in compliance with IFRS
- Handle IFRS 15 serial tooling business from an accounting perspective
- Post IFRS 15 R&D and IFRS 16 lease objects
- Assist with closing operations and generate reports for consolidation
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training with additional accounting qualifications, e.g. accountant
- Experience in asset accounting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of SAP FI is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel within Germany
- Proficiency in German and English
