What will you contribute?

In the next few years, Deutsche Bahn will modernize the signaling and safety technology (LST) on its heavily loaded tracks. Our dedicated team for these high-performance corridors plays a crucial role in developing innovative and high-performance solutions for LST on heavily frequented tracks. As part of this team, you will not only be an innovation driver but also a key partner of Deutsche Bahn, contributing to the advancement of digitalization of the entire rail traffic in Germany.

We are looking for reinforcements for the team nationwide (Hamburg, Berlin, Braunschweig, Leipzig, Cologne, Magdeburg, Nuremberg, Munich) to work on this task. #FutureRailTechnology

  • You will plan telecommunications systems and their transmission paths and systems in the rail sector.
  • At digital interlockings (DSTW) and radio block centers (RBC) for the European Train Control System ETCS, you will develop the positioning and control of all field equipment components together with the LST and 50 Hz planning engineers (m/f/d).
  • You will closely coordinate with the cross-site team and adjacent departments, such as PT2 project planning, the test control center, or project management.
  • You will also gain in-depth insights and acquire self-initiated, well-founded knowledge of signaling and level crossing techniques from Siemens Mobility.
  • In your new role, you will be an essential part of the entire value chain Mainline in the Germany sales division of Siemens Mobility.

What do you bring?

  • You hold a completed technical degree (Bachelor) in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a comparable field of study.
  • You also bring several years of professional experience in planning telecommunications systems for Deutsche Bahn.
  • Furthermore, you are well-versed in AutoCAD, NeDocS, or iTWO.
  • You are willing to take on occasional business trips (approximately 20%), mainly to Braunschweig and Berlin, as well as to customer projects.
  • You also possess secure German language skills, both spoken and written.
