Our Team
We are looking for a talented Telecommunications Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team responsible for the planning and development of high-performance rail corridors. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative and high-performance solutions for the Leit- und Sicherungstechnik (LST) of heavily frequented rail lines. Your expertise will play a crucial role in advancing the digitalization of the entire rail traffic in Germany.
Your Responsibilities
- You will plan telecommunications systems and their transmission paths and systems in the rail environment.
- You will work together with our LST and 50 Hz planning team to develop the positioning and control of all field equipment components at digital interlockings (DSTW) and radio block centers (RBC) for the European Train Control System (ETCS).
- You will maintain close collaboration with our cross-site team and adjacent departments, such as PT2 project planning, the test control center, or project management.
- You will gain in-depth insights and acquire self-motivated knowledge of railway signaling and crossing technologies from Siemens Mobility.
- You will be an integral part of the entire value chain Mainline in the Germany sales division of Siemens Mobility.
Your Profile
- You hold a degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
- You bring several years of experience in planning telecommunications systems for Deutsche Bahn.
- You are proficient in AutoCad, NeDocS, or iTWO.
- You are willing to travel occasionally (approximately 20%) for customer projects and meetings, primarily to Braunschweig and Berlin.
- You possess secure German language skills, both spoken and written.
