About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Engineer to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our international project business, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and progress in the field of railway systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create technical blueprints for telecommunication systems, including radio, passenger information, and transmission systems.
  • Draft design documents, including system architectures, interface descriptions, and detailed design documents.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and specialized departments to coordinate and define technical interfaces, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and support their technical implementation throughout the project execution phase.

Requirements

  • University degree in an engineering field, preferably in communications engineering, electrical engineering, or information technology.
  • Several years of experience in development, engineering, or technical project management.
  • Good knowledge of transmission systems, including LAN, WLAN, LTE, or 5G.
  • Initial practical know-how in other telecommunications systems from the railroad environment, such as CCTV, SCADA, or telephony.
  • Proficiency in both German and English for seamless communication and collaboration across global teams.
  • Commitment to being based in Germany while participating in international projects.
