We're seeking an exceptional Artificial Intelligence Systems Architect to join our ranks. As a key member of our AI development team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and building scalable ML solutions that drive customer success.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and deploying high-quality ML workloads for our enterprise clients;
  • Designing and building production software within the Contentful Platform;
  • Conducting focused research and testing using tools like Jupyter Notebook;
  • Optimizing generative AI products for accuracy, speed, and scalability;
  • Integrating ML cloud solutions and adapting them to our large-scale use cases;
  • Integrating prompt engineering and fine-tuning for customer needs;
  • Developing software that scales to meet the demands of high-load customer workloads;
  • Leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies;
  • Driving ML education in the team and establishing a high standard of quality & ownership.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record as a technical leader in product software development environments;
  • A proven ability to work backwards from customer needs to deliver ML-based features that meet those needs;
  • The ability to organize and prioritize competing workloads;
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP);
  • Solid understanding of machine learning principles;
  • Experience with container frameworks such as Docker or Kubernetes;
  • Constructive problem-solving skills, bringing forward ideas that lead to practical solutions and contribute to product growth;
  • A strong understanding of the latest updates on LLM development & research.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in machine learning and AI implementation is a plus, as is the ability to translate research papers into proof-of-concepts when code does not exist.
