We are ZDF Sparks GmbH, a pioneering data science company that empowers businesses to harness the full potential of Artificial Intelligence. As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be part of our dynamic team in Berlin and play a crucial role in shaping the future of AI innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Data Systems Development: Collaborate with senior data science teams to design, review, implement, and modernize data systems, solutions, and algorithms for AI applications.
  • Data Preprocessing and Visualization: Work with structured and unstructured data, their preprocessing, and visualization to extract valuable insights.
  • Model Training and Optimization: Help train new models for various use cases from proof-of-concept to production-ready AI solutions.
  • Media Format Solutions: Develop innovative solutions across multiple media formats such as text, image, audio, and video.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this exciting role, you should possess:

  • Strong foundation in Python, including data manipulation and analysis with pandas and NumPy, and data visualization using Matplotlib and Seaborn.
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, and experience with Jupyter Notebooks and LangChain or similar libraries.
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization, and pre-processing tasks.
  • Initial experience or strong interest in designing and implementing algorithms and building generative AI applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
