About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Digital Solutions Architect to join our team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft. As a key member of our Commercial Banking Tribe, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly and efficient digital solutions and processes for our corporate clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the architecture and solution design for features developed in your Squads, balancing requirements, effort, and costs for the solution.
  • You will support the Squads in developing new features and digital processes, as well as migrating existing processes and features to a new cloud-based solution architecture.
  • You will communicate with business and technology stakeholders to identify and broaden the solution space, aligning it with the existing landscape.
  • You will consult product owners, engineers, application owners, and other stakeholders with regards to technical questions and challenges.
  • You will work in an agile setup, helping with feedback to improve our way of working.

Your Skills and Experience

  • You have a university degree with a technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience, ideally in the Financial Services/Banking industry.
  • You have several years of working experience as a software architect or lead engineer with solution design experience, preferably in a scaled agile setup supporting one or several Squads.
  • You have strong and deep knowledge of recent technologies, including cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure), artificial intelligence, programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python), databases (Postgres, BigQuery), and other solutions.
  • You have a great understanding of various architecture and solution patterns and where to apply them, plus very good analytical skills and the ability to structure complex tasks.
  • You enjoy working in an open, highly collaborative team based in multiple locations and are a good team player with a passion for technology and engineering.
