Operations Manager

Via is revolutionizing transportation globally, leveraging technology to transform the way people move. Our mission is to create a more sustainable, efficient, and accessible transportation system.

As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our on-demand public transportation services in the Frankfurt region. You will be the primary point of contact for our local team and partners, driving process centralization and automation efforts to achieve key performance indicators.

This role is also known as Field Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure key operational metrics are met for our on-demand public transport services.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve revenue and quality targets.
  • Lead the local field team to establish stable and scalable processes.
  • Work closely with central operations teams to maintain exceptional service quality.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement based on passenger, driver, and partner feedback.
  • Contribute to the expansion of Via's services, focusing on depot establishment, charging infrastructure, driver recruitment and training, and vehicle equipping.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience, with a track record of leadership and team development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing needs and maintain a positive leadership presence.
  • A quick learner with a solution-oriented approach to complex issues.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, with a data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for technical topics.
  • Fluent German language skills (C1 level) and English fluency.
  • A valid German driver's license (class B).
