About the Role

The Regional Data Center Infrastructure Operations Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers within a specific region. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop a team of operations professionals
• Ensure the attainment of organizational performance goals and objectives
• Plan and execute the infrastructure operations component of new data center expansions
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for Amazon data centers
• Manage vendor relationships for data center services providers
• Respond to safety, security, and availability incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 10+ years of management experience in data center operations or critical environment facilities
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate independently as a manager of a geographically distributed team
