Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Operations to join our team at Flink. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance operations of our German business, ensuring compliance with German regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and budget tracking to ensure accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 2 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in finance and accounting processes, identifying opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare coherent P&L, liquidity, and balance sheet plans in collaboration with the controlling team and CFO.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of working experience in finance or accounting, with a strong background in financial operations and compliance.
  • Education: Degree in Finance or Accounting, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Skills: Strong technical finance and accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
