Operations Development Specialist

Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated graduate to join our Operations Graduate Program at ADM. As a member of our team, you'll gain hands-on experience in various operational processes, build relationships with colleagues, and develop people management skills.



Program Overview


  • Work in shifts, rotating through different departments to learn about operations and teamwork
  • Rotate through other departments to build knowledge of how different departments are connected
  • Assignment to another location to act as deputy supervisor or deputy superintendent, gaining people management skills
  • Participation in graduate events to learn about our products and operations
  • Support Performance Excellence, our continuous improvement program, by participating and coordinating a workgroup
  • Assignment of a mentor for guidance and support
  • Exposure to regional operations management
  • Review of career opportunities upon completion of the program


Main Responsibilities


  • Gain technical knowledge of operational processes
  • Establish an internal network and build relationships
  • Understand how the organization operates and how different departments are connected
  • Develop and practice people management skills
  • Learn about Continuous Improvement within the organization


Requirements


  • University degree in chemical, process, food processing, mechanical engineering, electrical, nutrition, food, pharma, or equivalent background
  • Fluent in English and a second European language preferred
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with different levels in the organization
  • Self-reflection and a willingness to seek feedback and improve
  • Embracing diversity and creating inclusive solutions
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving international environment
  • Committed team player with a proactive approach to individual and company goals
  • Internationally mobile with a willingness to take on new opportunities
