About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our team at BuildingMinds. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward and achieving our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with our CEO to define and execute high-impact strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving significant value.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations across all departments, identifying and implementing innovative efficiencies to boost productivity and performance.
  • Investor Relations: Work closely with our CFO and CEO on investor relations as well as on M&A.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a critical liaison between the executive team, blue-chip clients, and top-tier investors, ensuring seamless communication and strong relationships.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee key projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while pushing for innovative solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial Approach: Adopt a fearless, entrepreneurial mindset, taking bold shortcuts and pushing boundaries to achieve rapid and effective results.
  • Global Travel: Expect extensive travel to our offices in New York, Shanghai, and London ensuring hands-on leadership and direct engagement with teams and clients worldwide.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a role within investment banking or top management consulting.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong track record of driving impact and generating value in high-stakes environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of managing relationships with top-tier clients and investors.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment while maintaining a focus on strategic objectives.
