About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to join our team at Blacklane. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our CEO and senior leadership team by overseeing strategic initiatives, managing key projects, and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic counsel and insights on key business decisions, leveraging your expertise to drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research to support strategic decision-making and problem-solving, utilizing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials for executive meetings and presentations, effectively communicating complex information to senior leaders.
  • Monitor and track progress on strategic initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending course corrections as needed.
  • Implement and manage OKRs by facilitating communication between departments, aligning objectives and key results with the overall business strategy, and ensuring that teams deliver/hold accountable and remain focused on their priorities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the Executive Assistant to the C-Level, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and customer-centricity. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.

About You:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in management consulting with a top-tier firm, preferably from one of the leading three consulting companies.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to excel in a dynamic and rapidly evolving startup environment.
