We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student (f/m/d) in computer science or a related field to join our research team at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). As a research assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a master thesis project that focuses on developing a multiplayer game for testing contact tracing approaches.
About the ProjectThe project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of contact tracing methods for infection risk estimation in real-world settings. To achieve this, you will design and develop a multiplayer game that simulates a virtual environment where players interact with each other and earn points. The game will be equipped with personalized risk information based on contact tracing data, allowing players to make informed decisions about their interactions. The goal is to conduct experiments on the effectiveness of different contact tracing approaches by analyzing the number of achieved scores and recorded infections.
