We are seeking a highly motivated student (f/m/d) in Computer Science or a similar field to join our Institute for Software Technology in Sankt Augustin. As a Master's thesis student, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that combines game development with contact tracing.
About the ProjectEvaluating the effectiveness of contact tracing methods is a complex task, especially in real-world settings. To address this challenge, we propose developing a multiplayer game as a virtual testbed for personalized infection risk management approaches. The game will allow players to interact with each other, collaborate on tasks, and earn points while navigating the risks associated with infection.
The game will provide a unique opportunity to experiment with different contact tracing approaches, evaluating the number of achieved scores and recorded infections. This project will contribute to the development of effective contact tracing methods, which are crucial for mitigating the spread of infectious diseases.
About the Requirements- Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
