IT Network Engineer

Bruker is a leading provider of high-performance scientific instruments and analytical solutions. We are seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to join our team in Bremen or Ettlingen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the campus and data center LAN/Wifi infrastructure
  • Ensure stable operation of the network environment
  • Maintain and further develop the network infrastructure
  • Coordinate with service providers and lifecycle projects
  • Provide consulting and support to colleagues and departments
  • Offer 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Document and maintain master data and network diagrams
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in computer science/business informatics or IT training
  • At least 3 – 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in operating network infrastructures
  • Setup and administration of switch environments and controller-driven Wi-Fi, preferably Cisco and Meraki
  • Experience in operating a NAC solution, preferably Cisco ISE
  • Knowledge of network security
  • Basic project management experience
  • Business economics knowledge
  • Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent, analytical, and structured way of working
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel to other locations (domestic and international < 25%)
  • Fluent English and German
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of our locations in Ettlingen or Bremen
