As an IT Network Engineer at Bruker, you will be part of an internationally operating in-house IT service provider and, together with your team, deliver IT service and support to global internal end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of the campus and data center LAN/Wifi
- Stable operation of the network environment
- Maintenance and further development of the network infrastructure
- Coordination of service providers and lifecycle projects
- Consulting colleagues and departments
- 2nd and 3rd level support
- Documentation and maintenance of master data and network diagrams
Requirements:
- Completed studies in the field of computer science/business informatics or IT training
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience
- Experience in operating network infrastructures
- Setup and administration of switch environments and controller driven Wi-Fi, preferably Cisco and Meraki
- Experience in operating a NAC solution, preferable Cisco ISE
- Knowledge of network security
- Basic project management experience
- Business economics knowledge
- Able to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Able to work autonomously
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Independent, analytical and structured way of working
- Team player
- Willingness to travel to other locations (domestic and international < 25 %)
- Fluent English and German
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of our locations in Ettlingen or Bremen
