About the Role
This position can be office-based or fully remote from one of the following countries: Germany, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, or the UK.
As a Payroll Specialist at Personio, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with our customers and helping them maximize their value every day. You will be part of a team that is solving real problems for real people.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Satisfaction: You will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our DACH Personio customers by providing excellent software and compensation support, primarily through phone and email.
- Customer Relationship: You will build a solid relationship with our customers, learn their specific needs, and resolve compensation-related inquiries and issues.
- Payroll Expertise: You will serve as a point of contact for our customers (e.g., regarding general compensation matters, potential challenges, data inconsistencies, and best practices for resolution).
- Internal Collaboration: You will work with our product teams to resolve technical challenges and complex compensation-related issues for our customers, identify opportunities for improvement in our internal compensation support processes and compensation offering, and communicate these.
- Training & Coaching: You will coach junior team members in compensation and customer management and continuously expand your expertise in Personio through our internal academy.
Requirements
- You have 3–5 years of experience in end-to-end compensation processing (with a focus on Germany, experience in other EU/EEA/CH countries is an asset).
- You are communicative, with very good German and good English skills.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in customer communication.
- You work well in a team and have a high degree of empathy to address the needs and concerns of our customers.
- You place great value on accuracy and reliability in your work.
