Radiation Protection Specialist and Research Collaboration Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Protection Specialist and Research Collaboration Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting dose measurements in collaboration with internal and external partners to support the Advanced Therapies strategy in the areas of dose savings and image quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct dose measurements in collaboration with internal and external partners to support the Advanced Therapies strategy
- Manage the equipment for dose measurements and ensure it is always ready for use and up to date
- Take on the tasks of the radiation protection officer for the Innovations department
- Comply with regulatory requirements and ensure quality-compliant contract design and implementation of research collaborations
- Monitor the achievement of milestones and obtain results during the term of the research collaboration
- Evaluate results and manage the financial aspects of the collaboration
- Channel the results of the research cooperation and pass them on internally to relevant units
- Promote and support the creation of scientific publications and "white papers"
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical field, preferably with a PhD
- Many years of professional experience with X-ray-based imaging procedures in cooperation with international partners
- Excellent knowledge of Advanced Therapies products and solutions as well as minimally invasive therapy methods
- Experience in conducting clinical studies, especially those requiring registration with a competent authority
- Experience in conducting dose measurements with X-ray-based imaging systems, ideally with angiography systems
- Familiarity with compliance, legal, and quality processes of the medical industry, ideally at Siemens Healthineers
- Intercultural experience, ideally gained through longer, continuous stays abroad during studies or professional activities
