Procurement IT Specialist

At Hapag-Lloyd, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement IT Specialist to join our team in Hamburg. As a key member of our Global IT Procurement Team, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining master data within the Coupa platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Gain deep insights into our daily business and actively support the Global IT Procurement Team in Hamburg and the License Management Team in Poland
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data governance and implement data quality standards
  • Gain experience in spend analysis, build KPI dashboards, and participate in savings evaluations via contract management tools
  • Support the overall digitization and automation of projects within Procurement IT
  • Coordinate directly and independently with specialist departments and external suppliers, taking on tasks as needed

Your Qualifications

  • You are currently completing a full-time degree in business administration or computer science or a comparable field of study
  • You also have strong social skills and very good communication skills in English (spoken and written) as the role is highly international
  • Basic know-how about eProc tools (Coupa) and contract analysis experience plus comprehension of global procurement requirements are likewise desirable
  • Solid Excel and office applications skills are a must (QlikSense & Coupa proc. tools would be a great add on)
