About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Design Team Lead to join our team at Aroundhome. As a key member of our UX team, you will be responsible for leading the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of dedicated UX designers and champion their personal development
  • Take on a hybrid role, working closely with product managers and developers to drive the UX design process
  • Develop and implement UX design strategies, ensuring an optimal user experience
  • Collaborate with the team to drive forward the overarching development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods
  • Create captivating and effective design solutions that inspire

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or comparable training, with several years of operational professional experience in UX design
  • Experience in leading small design teams, with a creative and analytical approach
  • Strong communication skills, with a healthy dose of humour
  • Familiarity with Figma and a deep understanding of web development (HTML, CSS)
  • Fluency in English and good to very good knowledge of German
