The successful candidate will contribute to our research efforts in quantum computing and machine learning, focusing on the development of precise models to predict the response of superconducting quantum processors.
Key Responsibilities- Refine and improve the model for greater precision using machine learning techniques
- Collaborate with leading experimental teams across Europe to simulate their devices
- Develop models based on actual devices and explore avenues to enhance performance
- Contribute to the development of numerical and analytical techniques in quantum computing
- Masters and subsequent degree in theoretical Physics/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related subject
- Solid background and experience in machine learning and quantum computing
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and circuit QED is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a committed and independent manner with flexibility and open-mindedness for new challenges
- Interest in working in an interdisciplinary and international team of scientists
- Fluency in written and spoken English
