SAP Authorization and Security Professional

At Siemens AG, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Authorization and Security Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and executing SAP authorization projects, ensuring the governance of the concept post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create project plans, define tasks, and estimate effort for SAP authorization initiatives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Establish mechanisms for monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and internal policies.
  • Review and update governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to adapt to evolving business needs and security threats.
  • Configure and implement SAP roles and profiles based on the established authorization concepts with IT and external consultants.
  • Document project-related information, including authorization configurations, test results, and project milestones, and generate regular status reports to update project stakeholders on progress and potential risks.
  • Create end-user training materials.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of SAP systems and a good understanding of SAP authorization concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices like Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework SAFe and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Many years of SAP-specific work experience and a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Very good English and German language skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
