Role Overview

  • Act as the subject matter expert for specific investment and technical insurance accounting areas, including reinsurance.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Conduct analysis of profit and loss statements and balance sheet fluctuations, providing insights for senior management.
  • Prepare and coordinate year-end audits with external auditors and relevant internal teams.
  • Continuously enhance accounting processes for efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in investment accounting and/or technical insurance accounting.
  • Familiarity with IAS/IFRS financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in SAP/FI and strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, quick learner, and a problem-solving approach.
  • High level of independence and a structured work style.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
