Graphic Design Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Working Student to join our Creative Team at Kitchen Stories - AJNS New Media GmbH.
As a student with a passion for graphic design, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of creative projects, from graphic design and illustration to animation and visual effects.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team to develop new and exciting visual content that supports our mission to inspire home cooks around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on graphic design, illustration, and animation tasks
- Collaborate closely with our Creative team to develop new, dynamic visuals that support our written, video, and photo content
- Contribute to the look and feel of our social channels with consistent, on-brand design assets
- Pitch in wherever a design eye is needed, guaranteeing a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities
- Work closely with our Sales Team on external communications, including B2B marketing materials, pitch decks, and mock ups, to boost awareness of our brand and our sales products
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student studying graphic design or a related field
- Initial work experience and a familiarity with the content creation process for digital platforms are ideal
- Adapt various formats: infographics, iconography, newsletter templates, UI elements, print material, and illustrations
- Confident in using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and other design tools, along with Powerpoint; basic knowledge in Premiere and After Effects is a plus
- Self-motivated creative thinker and goal-oriented problem solver who loves to draw and illustrate
- Keen sense for visual design and want to evolve in this field
- Strong English skills, German is a plus
- Loves cooking and eating and is inspired by food as a topic
