At Picnic, we're revolutionising the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. Our dynamic team is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Event Coordinator to join our Communications & Engagement team in Düsseldorf.

About the Role

As a Senior Event Coordinator, you will contribute to creating an engaging and inspiring work environment for our 10,000+ employees and 500+ team leads. You will organise events and celebrations, expand our internal communication and engagement calendar, and partner with business stakeholders to ensure our events meet their goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engagement initiatives for operational and central employees in Germany
  • Build and maintain our engagement calendar, developing programs around Picnic's mission and values
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure events meet their goals and needs
Requirements
  • BSc. degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a similar field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in event management
  • Fluent in English and German (basic knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus)
  • Project management skills and ability to manage projects internationally
  • Financially savvy and able to make budget-conscious decisions
  • Creative mind and ability to generate new ideas
