Quality Engineer: Full-time Quality Management, IT

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and continuously improve our existing quality management system.
  • Analyze customer requirements regarding quality and participate in meetings with customers and suppliers.
  • Perform FMEA and risk analyses.
  • Define and monitor adherence to internal quality standards.
  • Conduct and document quality audits within the company, as well as at suppliers and customers.
  • Support the responsible project engineer in factory acceptance tests and independently conduct factory acceptance tests.
  • Conduct quality training for colleagues and supervisors.
  • Be the point of contact for customers and suppliers on all quality-related matters - inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure that quality specifications are met.
  • Analyze problems in the areas of technology, procurement, design, project, product, or production. Develop corrective measures, solutions, and improvements.
  • Analyze customer expectations and satisfaction.
  • Develop and continuously improve our existing occupational safety system.
  • Maintain and develop our patent portfolio.
Requirements
  • A technical degree with a focus on quality assurance or subsequent training as a quality engineer or a comparable education.
  • Basic knowledge of renewable energies and energy storage systems is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards such as DIN and ISO norms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality analysis and measurement procedures such as FMEA and risk analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Management, etc. is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of occupational safety requirements is desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office software.
  • Enthusiasm and team spirit.
  • Creativity and a self-motivated, goal-oriented work style.
  • Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills.
  • Customer orientation and high sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills, as well as willingness to travel within Germany and worldwide (business trips and external activities are currently estimated to account for no more than about 15% of working time).
