Job Summary

As a Senior Manager Model & Data Automation, you will be responsible for the development and operation of digital solutions in the field of data acquisition and processing of drones and agricultural machinery. You will translate business requirements into IT requirements and implement technical solutions with a focus on model development and content testing.

Key Responsibilities

Conceive, design, develop, test, operate, and refine the Digital Farming-IT solution architecture in model and data automation.
Drive the development of AI and GenAI in the area of agriculture, including Computer Vision.
Support the global Digital Farming strategy regarding the technical exchange infrastructure with external partners.
Lead a team of 15 internal IT and engineering experts.
Support the overall digital farming and business development strategy as well as the digital architecture and development within the company.

Requirements

University degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, natural sciences, engineering, or related fields.
Several years of professional experience, ideally as a team leader of a cross-functional team.
Expert knowledge in implementing business requirements for data-driven, customer-oriented IT solutions at a global company level, ideally in the field of agriculture and digital farming.
Expertise in scalable microservices-based, web, and mobile IT architectures as well as in data pipelines and modern AI frameworks.
Initial work experience and insights into concepts of generative AI would be an advantage.
Very good communication skills in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
