Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge Frontend applications using modern technologies and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-performance, scalable Frontend applications using React and other modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with our Cloud-based infrastructure.
- Drive internal platform efforts to improve development tools and Frontend ecosystem.
- Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams.
- Research and assess new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform.
- Establish guidelines and share best practices to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Provide stable automated solutions for our internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery.
- University degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries.
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components.
- Experience with Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems, and material-ui is a huge plus.
- Experience working with automated testing frameworks like Jest.
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and monorepo setup.
- Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Babel.
- Devoted to quality and adhere to best practices within the JavaScript community.
- Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and automation for Frontend.
- Comfortable and confident driving technical and architectural discussions.
- Open-minded and creative team player who is eager to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our technology and culture.
- Great English communication skills.
