Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at Raisin GmbH. As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our product, optimizing performance and scalability, and driving internal platform efforts to improve development tools and the Frontend ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality Frontend applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Frontend applications.
- Drive internal platform efforts to improve development tools and the Frontend ecosystem.
- Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams.
- Research and assess new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform.
- Establish guidelines and share best practices to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- University degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries.
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components.
- Experience with Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems, and material-ui is a plus.
- Experience working with automated testing frameworks like Jest.
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture and monorepo setup.
- Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Babel.
- Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and experience with modern CI/CD and automation for Frontend.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
