About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality Frontend applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize Frontend applications for performance and scalability
  • Drive internal platform efforts to improve development tools and Frontend ecosystem
  • Contribute to building development infrastructure used by stream-aligned teams
  • Research and develop new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform
  • Establish guidelines and share best practices to ensure continuous learning and improvement
  • Provide stable automated solutions for internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full Stack engineer
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries
  • Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components
  • Experience with Next.js, Static Site Generators, JAM-Stack, and material-ui
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest
  • Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Babel
  • Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and experience with modern CI/CD and automation for Frontend
